The man you see in the logo isn't just a figurehead; he is the heart of my inspiration and the name behind Reid. His life has taught me that the most important ingredients in any endeavor is integrity, love, faith, commitment, and family. I carry those values into every batch of sweets that are baked.
Pen to Pastry
In the logo you will notice a slate blue quill/ feather that moves through a book and into a whisk. That is because, to me, baking has become a form of storytelling.

The feather represents my history, which I hold very dear. My native ancestry, handwritten recipe cards, and family stories that are shared from generation to generation.

The book is the second connecting piece to my story. I love to write books, poems, or share stories with everyone I meet. I love to read books all the time as well. Probably, where I got my storytelling from! However, the most crucial connecting piece to the book isn't just in the book of recipe's, it is a representation of the Bible. Faith is the cornerstone of who I am.

Guided by the spirit of Psalms 34:8, I invite you to "Taste and see that the Lord is good." Whether it is in our classic cookies that remind you of childhood, or a custom creation for a new milestone, my mission is to provide more than just a dessert. I want to provide a moment of connection, a taste of comfort, a celebration of heritage, and a memory that will be shared in stories to come.
